Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Create Invoice Pro ("we", "us", "our"), operated from Lahore, Pakistan, collects, uses, and protects information when you use createinvoicepro.com (the "Service") to create, store, and send invoices.
2. Information We Collect
Invoice data. Content you enter into the invoice builder — sender and client details, line items, amounts, notes, terms, and any logo you upload — is stored so you can retrieve, edit, and download it later.
Guest usage (no account). If you use the Service without signing up, we set a random, non-identifying anon_key cookie on your device (kept for up to 10 years) to associate the invoices you create with your browser. We do not use this cookie to track you across other websites.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text). You may optionally add company details — company name, phone, address, website, logo, and a short "about" description — which are used to prefill invoices you create.
Contact form. If you contact us, we collect the name, email, subject, and message you submit so we can respond.
Technical and log data. Like most web applications, our servers automatically log request metadata — IP address, browser user agent, referring page, requested URL, and response status — for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. Error responses may retain additional request details for a limited time; passwords and similar sensitive fields are never logged.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate, store, retrieve, and email the invoices you create
- To create and secure your account, including email verification and password resets
- To prefill future invoices with your saved company details
- To respond to support and contact requests
- To detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and keep the Service reliable and secure
- To display advertising that helps keep the Service free (see Section 5)
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies required for the Service to function — including your session, a CSRF security token, and the guest anon_key described above — plus third-party advertising cookies described below. See our Cookie Policy for details on each cookie and how to control them.
5. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display ads on the Service. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or generally at www.aboutads.info. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
6. Data Storage and Security
Invoice and account data is stored on servers we operate or contract with. Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text. Access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain invoice and account data for as long as your account (or, for guest usage, your anon_key cookie) remains active, or until you request deletion. Request/technical logs are retained for a limited operational period and then routinely cleared.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Access or update: account and company details can be edited any time from My Account.
- Delete individual invoices: use the delete action in your Invoice History.
- Delete your account or all associated data: contact us and we will process your request.
- Guest data: clearing your browser cookies removes the link to any invoices created without an account; consider creating a free account first if you'd like to keep access.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Users
We operate from Pakistan. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in Pakistan or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Contact Us
